Climb Machining Ltd. is a locally owned hydraulic repair and general machine shop in Grande Prairie. Most of our work comes the old-fashioned way: repeat customers, referrals, and crews who know the job gets done right the first time. We machine and repair for oilfield, forestry, agriculture, and construction operations across the Peace Region, from large companies to individual farmers.
We started in machining and hydraulic cylinder repair, and have since added a full hydraulic shop rebuilding pumps, motors, and valves. Bring us the worn part, the leaking cylinder, or the drawing, and our machinists will sort it out.

We tear down, diagnose, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, from small rams up to 100+ feet long, on our dedicated cylinder bench. Every rebuilt cylinder is pressure tested before it leaves the shop, so it goes back on your equipment ready to work.
Our manual machine shop handles the one-off parts and repairs that keep equipment in the field: the pin nobody stocks, the flange that needs drilling and tapping, the keyway that has to be right. Bring the part or the drawing.
Our hydraulic shop rebuilds hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves alongside our cylinder work. Bring in a worn or failing unit and we will tear it down, diagnose it, replace the wearing components, and test it on our state-of-the-art bench before it goes back to work, with a printed test report to back it up.

Our 10,000 square foot shop is set up to take on jobs of any size, from a single bushing to a 100+ foot cylinder. The highlight is our hydraulic test bench, newer and more capable than the 30-year-old benches our competitors run, and able to print an actual graph and test report on every job. Climb Machining works with customers across Grande Prairie, Clairmont, Sexsmith, Wembley, Beaverlodge, the County of Grande Prairie, and surrounding communities, reaching east through the Peace Region and west into northeastern BC along the Montney–Duvernay corridor.
